advice for novice

Hi, I'm new to this, but I'd like to get up and running on CU-SEEME. I
downloaded and read the README`and FAQ, but am still confused about
several basic points.
I have three macintosh systems, a docked duo, a IIci and a
powermac 8100 on its way. I downloaded the software and got audio to
work (on the duo -- not great quality, but understandable) and
connected to a few reflectors and saw some video.
Now I want to know:

1) What kind of video card support will I need? Is it better
to get the AV model of the 8100 or get a separate card for the machine?

2) What kind of camera should I buy? Is a connectix quickcam
sufficient for conferencing purposes? If not, what is a better
solution? What are the basic trade-offs in cameras?
